Our established client is seeking an experienced Purchasing and Scheduling Manager to take ownership of purchasing operations, inventory control, and production scheduling within a manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring materials are available to support production through effective supplier management, stock control, and scheduling processes.
- Approximately 95% Kanban-based purchasing
- Maintain and manage the Kanban system, including stock levels and controls.
- Take full responsibility for inventory control and stock accuracy.
- Maintain inventory records, stock codes, and re-order levels.
- Own and manage year-end stock take procedures.
- Support risk assessments and assist with COSHH documentation in conjunction with the Production Manager.
- Proven experience in a similar purchasing, buying, or scheduling role within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated track record in inventory control and supplier management.
- Experience managing stock takes and cyclic counting procedures.
