The predicted salary is between 45000 - 55000 £ per year.

Location: Cannock - Office Based Role

Working Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday

Groomfield Recruitment are proud to be working on behalf of our client to recruit an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager. This is an exceptional opportunity for a strategic and inspirational leader to drive commercial growth, lead a high-performing team, and shape the future direction of the business.

The mission of this role is to manage and develop the sales team to ensure each sales territory delivers year-on-year growth in revenue and profitability, in line with targets set by the Board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing leadership, management, and accountability for a team of 18 employees
  • Driving daily sales activity and ensuring the achievement of revenue and profit targets
  • Motivating and inspiring the sales team through positive leadership and short-term incentives
  • Monitoring individual and team productivity to maximise performance
  • Leading recruitment, training, and development initiatives to strengthen team capability
  • Conducting regular performance reviews, coaching, and mentoring to support professional growth
  • Fostering a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive work environment aligned with company values
  • Providing weekly reports on performance, action items, and strategic initiatives to senior management
  • Developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Building a high-performance, results-driven culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement
  • Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Board on performance, market opportunities, and risks

About You:

  • Proven experience leading and developing large sales teams, delivering sustained revenue and profit growth
  • A strong leadership style with a track record of coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams
  • End-to-end sales management expertise and a history of commercial success
  • The ability to translate company objectives into actionable sales and marketing strategies
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, CRM systems, and data-driven decision-making
  • Empathy and relationship-building capabilities, alongside the confidence to hold others accountable
  • A results-driven, innovative, and forward-thinking mindset
