Our valued client is actively seeking a Sales Ledger Controller to join their friendly team at their Head Office (East Midlands) on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be part of an expanding business, which has continued to create a family feel as they grow.

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm OR 9:00am - 5:30pm.

As a Sales Ledger Controller you will be expected to:

  • Oversee billing and ensure that all invoicing is completed accurately and on time.
  • Manage purchase orders and handle customer interactions, from addressing enquiries to providing weekly and monthly billing updates.
  • Manage all cash allocations efficiently, ensuring that funds are processed correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare all relevant documentation for funder auditors, ensuring compliance with requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and monthly management accounts.
  • Contribute to general ledger maintenance, ensuring that all transactions are recorded and reconciled.
  • Manage customer relationships, ensuring that all invoicing queries are resolved promptly and professionally.

To be successful in applying for the Sales Ledger Controller position, you must have:

  • Previous experience in a Sales Ledger, Accounts Receivable, or similar finance role.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
