Groomfield Recruitment are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative / Reach Truck Driver to join a well-established and reputable client based in Tamworth (B78). This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy, fast-paced warehouse environment, offering long-term prospects for the right candidate. The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting daily operations, ensuring goods are handled efficiently, safely, and accurately.

Pay: £13.42

Working Hours (Two shifts available):

  • 07:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday
  • 16:00 to 01:30am Sunday to Thursday

Duties Include:

  • Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to transport goods within the warehouse
  • Load and unload pallets from racking systems at various heights
  • Accurately pick and put away stock according to company procedures
  • Conduct daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized working area
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Assist with general warehouse duties when required

The Candidate:

  • Valid Reach Truck licence/certification (RTITB or equivalent)
  • Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment
  • Good understanding of warehouse operations and stock control
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good level of physical fitness
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends if required
