Purchasing Administrator Location: Aston, Birmingham Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm ( 30 mins lunch ) and Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm ( 30 mins lunch ) Salary: up to £29,000 per annum Benefits include: 25 days' holiday, company pension following the qualifying period and free on-site parking. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history and previous experience in purchasing/procurement, ideally using an ERP/MRP system . You will need excellent attention to detail, strong Excel skills and a confident telephone manner. Key Responsibilities Raising and managing purchase orders Monitoring stock and demand across 17,000+ SKUs Chasing suppliers and managing delivery information Checking order acknowledgements Sourcing alternative products Supporting supplier performance and general administration Manage the placement of Purchase orders through interpretation of stock and demand. About You Purchasing/procurement experience ERP/MRP experience desirable Good Excel and IT skills Excellent communication and organisational skills Positive, analytical and solutions-focused Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping Benefits include: 25 days' holiday, company pension following the qualifying period and free on-site parking.
