Shift Pattern: 3 Shift Rotation
- Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 12:00pm, 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Friday: 6:00am - 12:00pm, 12:00pm - 6:00pm

Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract 6 months
We are recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join a rotating shift engineering team on a 6-month contract. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment and facility systems within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to preventive and corrective maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all production equipment and facility systems operate safely and reliably.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise unplanned downtime.
- Attend machine breakdowns and perform corrective maintenance efficiently.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and technical faults.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
- Maintain compliance with health & safety, operational, and quality standards.
- Accurately complete maintenance documentation and records.
Required candidate experience:
- Proven experience attending machine breakdowns and carrying out planned maintenance activities.
- Strong mechanical repair and troubleshooting capability.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems including motors, circuits, and sensors.
- Basic PLC knowledge and understanding of control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive maintenance approach.
- High level of safety awareness and adherence to safety procedures.
- NVQ Level 3 or an Ordinary National Certificate (ONC) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
