The successful candidate will have a strong background within non-OEM automotive manufacturing, ideally with Tier 1 experience, and will be confident working across areas such as fabrication, laser cutting and/or press operations. • Manage 8D processes and ensure reports are completed and signed off within agreed timescales.
  • Monitor and report on Quality KPIs, including PPM, non-conformances and cost of quality.
  • Develop effective quality control processes based on customer requirements.
  • Oversee product development procedures and identify deviations from required quality standards.
  • Establish compliance objectives and ensure agreed targets are achieved or exceeded.
  • Record, investigate and analyse non-conformances, identifying opportunities for corrective and preventative action.
  • Ensure inspection capacity plans are maintained and available as required.
  • Work closely with the manufacturing team to develop and embed a strong quality culture.
  • Attend customer and supplier visits where required.
  • Hold regular Quality meetings with the management team in line with QMS requirements.
  • Produce accurate reports and statistical analysis for senior management.
  • Manage Quality activities across all company sites.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret Quality data and KPIs.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to work with customers, suppliers and senior management.
  • Proactive, reliable and organised, with a strong attention to detail.
  • A confident and influential personality with the ability to embed a positive Quality culture within a manufacturing environment.
