Installation & Commissioning Engineer
Location: Greater Manchester Area
Type: Permanent

Salary: Competitive + Company Vehicle
Hours: 47.5 Hours Monday to Friday.

On behalf of our client, a long-established UK leader in specialist building systems, we are recruiting for an experienced Installation & Commissioning Engineer to join their field operations team. This role involves site visits across the North West region, with occasional travel and overnight stays required.

THE ROLE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Install and commission proprietary building control systems to high standards

Conduct fault-finding and diagnostics on both electrical and mechanical components

Ensure accurate reporting, documentation, and compliance with H&S procedures

Work from heights and elevated platforms regularly

Collaborate with project teams to deliver efficient installations and system commissioning

IDEAL PROFILE

Minimum Level 2 C&G/EAL Diploma in Electrical Installations

Experience with fire alarm systems, low voltage controls, or CCTV systems

Comfortable with on-site work and flexible travel

Full UK Driving Licence required

Prior work in aluminium fabrication, fire alarm, or construction sectors is advantageous
