Groomfield Recruitment are looking for 3 Counterbalance Forklift Drivers for their client based in Fradley Park, Lichfield WS13.

Hours of Work: 8 hours shifts - Start times: 1800pm-0230am and 2000pm-0530am. You must be open to all start times.

Rate of Pay: £15.00 per hour

Duties of the Role:

  • Operating Forklift Counterbalance
  • Unloading goods in
  • Loading goods out
  • Double-decker trailer unloading and loading
  • Pallet and stillage work
  • Communicating and working effectively within a team
  • Singular / alone work
  • Reporting any issues
  • Complying with Health and Safety at all times

Experience/Requirements Needed:

  • In-date and external valid Forklift Counterbalance License is essential
  • Loading and unloading of double decker trailers with pallet experience is essential
  • Over 1 year’s experience within a Forklift Counterbalance role is essential
  • Confidence using a Forklift truck
  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting is essential, with a strong understanding of materials handling practices
  • Basic math skills are necessary for inventory management and record keeping
  • A commitment to safety and adherence to health regulations is crucial for this role
