We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Specialist within the Automotive Sector. Covering Mainland Europe, working for a leading provider within their sector. This fantastic role is perfect for a driven sales professional with a knack for developing new business opportunities from the Engineering or Automotive sector.
Yearly salary up to £52,000 (depending on experience). Competitive bonus structure. 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays. Private medical care. Company car or car allowance. Working 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and finish at 1:00pm on a Friday. You will be predominantly based from their Shenstone office, with travel required to visit customers based in Mainland Europe.
Key Responsibilities:- Be an ambassador for the brand.
- Drive business growth by identifying and developing new opportunities within the automotive and other sectors across Europe.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of projects and solutions to customers.
- Preparation of proposals, contracts, and other business development materials.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of industry developments and inform strategy.
- Participate in meetings, conferences, and events to promote the company's products and services across various European regions.
- Analyse customer samples and weld tests to ascertain appropriate solutions.
- Assisting and helping the service/engineering team.
- Educational Background: HND, HNC, or Degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or related fields) or equivalent experience in business development.
- Proven experience in a business development role, preferably in the automotive or engineering sector.
- Multilingual skills are a significant advantage (fluent in English, German or French).
