Groomfield Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operative to join our client’s growing team. This is a hands-on operational role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a process-driven environment and takes pride in accuracy, safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out pre- and post-production checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Maintain equipment and identify items needing repair or removal from service
- Ensure accurate labelling and documentation
- Perform routine inspections and report any non-functional equipment
- Support preparation of goods for dispatch and arrange transport documentation (once trained)
- Maintain accurate production records and comply with all required procedures
- Report any accidents, injuries or safety concerns promptly
- Operate forklift trucks and warehouse equipment (training provided if required)
- Prepare, pack and finish products to customer specification (after training/competency sign-off)
- Maintain a clean, safe and orderly working environment
- Complete compliance documentation neatly and accurately
