Warehouse Manager – Multi-Site Operations Location: Tamworth Salary: Up to £45,000 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08.00 to 16.30 Benefits: Private Health Care / Dental Cover / Annual Bonus / Pension, 5% Employee and 10% Employer The Role As Warehouse Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of warehouse operations across two sites. You’ll lead a team of 25+ employees, manage processes and systems, and ensure goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities as a Warehouse Manager: * Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods across two warehouse sites. * Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations. * Develop, monitor, and report on key warehouse metrics and KPIs. * Ensure all documentation for goods in/out is accurate and up to date. * Create, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). * Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs. * Ensure the proper storage and handling of hazardous materials in compliance with regulations. * Maintain accurate training and compliance records for all team members. Personal Specification as a Warehouse Manager: * Strong technical and IT skills, with proficiency in SAP and database/spreadsheet management. * Excellent problem-solving ability with a proactive approach to challenges. * Thorough understanding of warehouse legislation, safety standards, and operational compliance. * Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) procedures. * Current FLT licence (Instructor certification highly desirable)
