We are supporting a long-established, market-leading manufacturer in their search for a Technical CAD / Product Development Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation known for high-quality design, precision engineering, and exceptional craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop new products using CAD software (e.g., Autodesk Inventor).
- Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing.
- Work collaboratively with production teams to optimise designs for machining and manufacture.
- Ensure all technical output meets internal quality and engineering standards.
- Check and verify technical drawings.
- Provide ongoing support to manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- Strong understanding of metals and machining processes.
- Experience working closely with shop-floor manufacturing teams.
- Degree in mechanical engineering or similar discipline.
- Good understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
