Length: 3-6 months, potential for extension.

Shift

Pattern: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts on a weekly basis: 6am-2pm , 2pm-10pm , 10pm-6am,

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 6-6, rotating weekly between days and nights.

Role Overview

We are recruiting for a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role involves operating production machinery to manufacture components in line with quality and production standards.

The successful candidate will work with moderate supervision, using their initiative to identify issues and support efficient production processes while maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities as a machine operator

  • Set up and operate production machinery in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Load raw materials into machines and unload finished products.
  • Monitor machine performance and ensure consistent product quality.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions and general operating procedures.
  • Identify basic operational issues and escalate where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records and perform basic data entry tasks.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health & safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organised working environment.

Skills & Experience Required as a machine operator

  • Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and ability to work with industrial equipment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and standard procedures accurately.
  • Basic computer skills and data entry capability.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on product quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
