Our well-established and growing client based in Tamworth B77 is looking for a skilled Fabricator to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a reputable company that offers ongoing training, career progression, and a supportive working environment.
Working Hours: 07:30 to 16:15 Monday to Thursday, 07:30 to 15:15 Friday
Pay Rate: £13.25 per hour (with potential to earn up to £17.00 per hour once fully trained)
The Role: As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling a variety of plastic and metal products to a high standard. Your duties will include reading and interpreting technical drawings, fabricating components using various methods, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
Duties Included:
- Fabricate metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Perform MIG and/or TIG welding (depending on experience)
- Work with sheet plastic to cut, shape, and assemble parts
- Operate fabrication tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
