Groomfield Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Birmingham. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support quality standards and continuous improvement across production operations.
The Role
- Inspect and test products against specifications and quality standards
- Monitor production processes using SOPs and implement corrective actions
- Maintain quality documentation including inspection procedures and test plans
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions
- Work closely with production, engineering and maintenance teams
- Train team members on quality processes and standards
Requirements:
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Strong knowledge of metals, machining processes and tooling
- Good understanding of GD&T and drawing control
- Experience producing technical documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
