Location: Birmingham

Salary: Up to 45,000

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07.30 to 16.30/ Friday, 07.30 to 12.30

Groomfield Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Birmingham. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support quality standards and continuous improvement across production operations.

The Role

  • Inspect and test products against specifications and quality standards
  • Monitor production processes using SOPs and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain quality documentation including inspection procedures and test plans
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions
  • Work closely with production, engineering and maintenance teams
  • Train team members on quality processes and standards

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in CAD software
  • Strong knowledge of metals, machining processes and tooling
  • Good understanding of GD&T and drawing control
  • Experience producing technical documentation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
