Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07.30 to 16.30/ Friday, 07.30 to 12.30

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities as a Product Development Engineer:
  • Design and develop new products using CAD software (e.g., Autodesk Inventor).
  • Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing.
  • Work collaboratively with production teams to optimise designs for machining and manufacture.
  • Ensure all technical output meets internal quality and engineering standards.
  • Check and verify technical drawings.
  • Provide ongoing support to manufacturing operations.
Essential Requirements as a Product Development Engineer:
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
  • Strong understanding of metals and machining processes.
  • Experience working closely with shop-floor manufacturing teams.
  • Degree in mechanical engineering or similar discipline.
  • Good understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
