We are seeking a skilled, experienced and passionate Dog Groomer to join our professional and busy salon team at Groomers on the Green, alongside assistant manager responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' salon experience
  • Level 3 qualified OR equivalent hands-on salon training and experience
  • Confident grooming to all breed standards
  • Able to provide references from previous salon employment
  • Must provide a grooming portfolio showcasing previous work
  • Hardworking, reliable and punctual
  • Confident managing a full column in a busy salon

Duties:

  • Groom dogs to breed standards and customer specifications (bath, clip, hand strip, style)
  • Confidently assess coat condition and skin health
  • Maintain exceptional grooming standards and finishing
  • Handle dogs calmly and professionally, prioritising welfare at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the salon and equipment
  • Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team environment
