Are you an experienced Senior Transport Planner ready to take on a leadership role in a high-performing logistics team? This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing logistics operation supporting the Transport Manager in developing the planning team and overseeing the day to day operations.

Working on a Monday to Friday basis predominantly, you'll take the lead in coordinating complex transport schedules, supporting the planning team and managing processes as the team continues to evolve with new customer workstreams. This role requires someone adaptable, knowledgeable, and confident in their planning expertise.

The Role

  • Lead daily transport planning, ensuring optimal routing and load allocation
  • Provide senior-level oversight and support to junior planners during shifts
  • Maintain compliance with WTD, driver hours, and transport legislation
  • Act as a key contact for escalations from drivers, customers, and operational colleagues
  • Work collaboratively with the wider planning team to improve processes and customer service
