Do you have previous Transport or Logistics Planning/Coordinating experience? Are you looking for an opportunity to progress your career into a specialist planning role? Working alongside the existing Transport team, you will be planning bulk feed collections and deliveries across Northern Ireland. Managing the fleet trailer usage and complying with EU tachograph laws is essential, and a sound geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland would be beneficial. If you have a good understanding of EU Tachograph Regulations, WTD and excel in a constantly challenging environment, this is a great opportunity to join a growing transport firm that will develop their staff with long-term career options. An interest in/knowledge of the agricultural feed sector would be beneficial, but not essential as training will be given.

The Role:

  • Plan daily work schedule and routing for drivers
  • Accommodate additional customer orders efficiently on a daily basis
  • Manage Driver Vehicle scheduling
  • Ensure operations are carried out in accordance with legal, environmental and company policies
  • Work with the Fleet Maintenance team to ensure vehicles are maintained Monday to Friday, Saturdays on rotation

You will need:

  • Transport/Logistics Planning/Coordinating Experience
  • Knowledge of EU Tachograph Laws WTD
  • Excellent customer service skills to deal with customers, drivers and third parties
  • Excellent communicator and can work in a fast-paced environment
