Role
Joining a collaborative transport team, you will be responsible for delivering an efficient daily planning operation across groupage and full loads, ensuring excellent customer service and cost-effective solutions. This is a fast-paced role with multiple consignments and routes to plan, where strong organisational skills and transport knowledge are key.
Responsibilities
- Plan daily groupage and full load schedules, ensuring maximum efficiency.
- Allocate and manage drivers & vehicles in line with service requirements.
- Handle additional customer orders quickly and effectively.
- Liaise with customers, drivers, and colleagues to maintain excellent service.
- Ensure all planning adheres to EU Tachograph Regulations, WTD, and company policies.
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday NO WEEKEND WORK
- Rotational shifts (Week 1: 5:30am-2:30pm, Week 2: 9:30am-6:30pm).
You Will Need
- Proven Transport Planning experience (Groupage & Full Load essential).
- Strong geographical knowledge of NI.
- Knowledge of EU Tachograph Laws & WTD.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced planning environment.
