Senior Production Manager £50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits Sion Mills Are you an experienced Production Manager who is ready to take the next step into a broader senior management role? Joining a growing, high-volume manufacturing operation, you will take a senior role in leading Production and Quality at the Sion Mills site as the business continues to invest, expand capacity and prepare for further growth. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with the Head of Operations, initially overseeing approximately 30 people across Production and Quality. You'll have real ownership of manufacturing performance, with a focus on output, yield, waste, downtime, quality and people performance. Just as importantly, you'll understand the commercial impact behind those numbers and how improvements on the factory floor ultimately translate into stronger business performance. With plans to expand production further, including the introduction of an additional shift, this is an opportunity to join at an important stage of the site's development. Longer term, there is a genuine pathway for the successful person to progress into an Operations Manager position. The Role: Lead day-to-day Production and Quality performance across the Sion Mills operation Manage and develop the existing production team through the Production Manager Take ownership of key production KPIs including output, yield, overfill, waste, downtime and absence Identify production issues, solve problems and drive improvements in performance and efficiency Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Planning, Supply Chain and senior management Drive continuous improvement and minimise downtime within a high-volume manufacturing environment Maintain strong GMP, quality and audit-readiness standards Promote and maintain high Health pharmaceutical, medical device, aerospace or technical manufacturing and can demonstrate strong production leadership, we'd still like to hear from you.
