Do you have previous Transport or Logistics Planning/Coordinating experience? Are you looking for an opportunity to progress your career into a specialist planning role? Working alongside the existing Transport team, you will be planning bulk feed collections & deliveries across Northern Ireland. Managing the fleet & trailer usage and complying with EU tachograph laws is essential and a sound geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland would be beneficial. If you have a good understanding of EU Tachograph Regulations, WTD and excel in a constantly challenging environment, this is a great opportunity to join a growing transport firm that will develop their staff with long term career options. An interest in/knowledge of the agricultural feed sector would be beneficial, but not essential as training will be given.

The Role:

  • Plan daily work schedule and routing for drivers
  • Accommodate additional customer orders efficiently on a daily basis
  • Manage Driver & Vehicle scheduling
  • Ensure operations are carried out in accordance with legal, environmental and company policies
  • Work with the Fleet Maintenance team to ensure vehicles are maintained
  • Monday to Friday, Saturdays on rotation

You will need:

  • Transport/Logistics Planning/Coordinating Experience
  • Knowledge of EU Tachograph Laws & WTD
  • Excellent customer service skills to deal with customers, drivers and third parties
  • Excellent communicator and can work in a fast-paced environment
