Working alongside the existing Transport team, you will be planning bulk feed collections & deliveries across Northern Ireland. Managing the fleet & trailer usage and complying with EU tachograph laws is essential and a sound geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland would be beneficial. If you have a good understanding of EU Tachograph Regulations, WTD and excel in a constantly challenging environment, this is a great opportunity to join a growing transport firm that will develop their staff with long term career options. An interest in/knowledge of the agricultural feed sector would be beneficial, but not essential as training will be given.
The Role:
- Plan daily work schedule and routing for drivers
- Accommodate additional customer orders efficiently on a daily basis
- Manage Driver & Vehicle scheduling
- Ensure operations are carried out in accordance with legal, environmental and company policies
- Work with the Fleet Maintenance team to ensure vehicles are maintained
You will need:
- Transport/Logistics Planning/Coordinating Experience
- Knowledge of EU Tachograph Laws & WTD
- Excellent customer service skills to deal with customers, drivers and third parties.
- Excellent communicator and can work in a fast-paced environment
