Business Development Manager £45,000 – £65,000 + Bonus + Car + Benefits Field Based/Hybrid Are you a confident Salesperson with knowledge the transport or logistics industry? Do you enjoy targeting new business and building relationships with your clients? If you have had enough of being micromanaged and want to focus on winning new business, this could be an ideal opportunity for you. Covering Northern Ireland, this role offers the ability to plan your day accordingly whilst on the road visiting prospective, past and active clients. If you’re someone who enjoys forming and building new relationships and have experience in the transport, logistics or related sector, you will excel in this role. As a confident Salesperson you will be comfortable in managing your own diary, pipeline and ensure you are liaising with both the Customer & operations teams when required. Previous experience in worldwide transport or logistics is highly desirable. Working with an award-winning business, you will have a fantastic brand, reputation and service to sell. As this is a newly created role, there is an abundance of opportunity to bring the brand to market in Northern Ireland whilst also offering cross selling opportunities. What you will be doing: Mapping your market in the Northern Ireland Growing and maintaining a sales pipeline. Work closely with the Operations team to deliver smooth implementation of new business. Manging and updating the sales pipeline and its implications on budgets / forecasts. Develop & utilise sales leads via phone, email & face to face visits. Monitor market conditions and development potential. What you will need: Business 2 Business sales experience. Both in terms of new business development and account management. Competency in Microsoft office, sales lead tools and CRM system. Understanding of Sales cycle process & the method of “selling a solution”.
