Road Freight Operator (Permanent) in Belfast

Freight Forwarder Belfast City Centre £35,000 - £40,000 + Pension + Benefits + Flexible Working Do you have experience within Freight Forwarding across Air, Road or Sea? Are you looking for a role that gives you greater variety, responsibility and the opportunity to work across multiple freight modes? Working within a small, close-knit operation but with the backing and resources of a larger established business, you will become a key operational point of contact across Air, Road and Sea Freight. You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of customers, manage a variety of freight movements and use your experience to resolve problems and keep shipments moving. The Role: Manage freight movements across Air, Road and Sea Coordinate import and export shipments from booking through to delivery Take ownership of customer requirements and operational queries Liaise with customers, carriers, hauliers, agents and overseas partners Keep customers updated throughout the shipment process Identify and resolve delays or issues throughout the movement of goods Work closely with the wider commercial and operational team The Person: Will have previous Freight Forwarding experience omfortable managing import and/or export shipments Strong understanding of the end-to-end freight forwarding process Confident dealing directly with customers and taking ownership of accounts Comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels Have excellent attention to detail Able to work independently and solve operational problems Enjoy working within a small, collaborative team environment What's in it for you? £35,000 - £40,000 salary, depending on experience Company pension and benefits Exposure across Air, Road & Sea Freight Greater ownership of customers and shipments Varied operational role rather than being restricted to one freight mode Join a small Belfast team with the backing of a larger organisation Flexible/remote working opportunities once established within the role Opportunity to become a key member of the Belfast operation If you are interested in developing your career and joining a business where you can make a genuine impact, please click APPLY NOW!
