Quality Assurance Assistant Β£26,000 - Β£28,000 + Pension + Enhanced Holiday + Training & Development Lisburn Are you currently working within Food Safety, Quality or Technical and looking for an opportunity to develop your career within a growing logistics and food distribution business? Do you have a strong eye for detail and an understanding of quality management systems, food safety standards and regulated environments? Working within a leading temperature-controlled logistics and distribution business, you'll support the ongoing monitoring and verification of food safety, legality and quality procedures across the operation. You'll play an important role in maintaining the company's Quality Management System, supporting internal and external audits, monitoring cold-chain compliance, conducting traceability exercises and assisting with investigations into non-conformances and customer queries. This is an excellent development opportunity for someone with existing Food Safety, Quality or Technical experience who wants to further their career within a highly regulated food distribution environment. The Role Support the monitoring and verification of food safety, legality and quality procedures. Conduct internal audits across the operation. Assist with preparation for customer, regulatory and BRCGS audits and visits. Conduct product and operational traceability exercises. Support investigations relating to customer queries, non-conformances and technical issues. Maintain accurate records in accordance with the Quality Management System. Support continuous improvement projects across the business. Work closely with operational teams to ensure quality and food safety standards are consistently maintained. Monday to Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm. The Person Minimum 1 year's experience within a Food Safety, Quality, Technical or similar role. Degree or third-level qualification in Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline. HACCP Level 2 qualification as a minimum. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Professional and confident communicator with a customer-focused approach. Able to investigate issues thoroughly and maintain accurate documentation.
