Are you an experienced Senior Transport Planner? Are you looking for a new role that offers autonomy and an opportunity to grow your career? Working alongside the existing Transport team, you will be responsible for planning full load, part load and groupage deliveries and collections across Ireland. If you have a good understanding of EU Tachograph Regulations, WTD and a great geographical knowledge of Ireland, this is a great opportunity to join a growing transport firm that will develop their staff with long term career options.
The Role:
- Plan daily work schedule and routing for drivers
- Accommodate additional customer orders efficiently on a daily basis
- Manage Driver & Vehicle scheduling
- Ensure operations are carried out in accordance with legal, environmental and company policies
- Work with the Fleet Maintenance team to ensure vehicles are maintained
You will need:
- Previous Transport Planning Experience
- Strong knowledge of EU Tachograph Laws & WTD
- Good geographical knowledge of Ireland
- Excellent customer service skills to deal with customers, drivers and third parties.
