Are you an experienced Customs professional looking to join a fast-paced, growing business with real progression opportunities? We are working with a well-established and expanding logistics organisation seeking a Customs Clearance Agent to join their busy operations team.

The Role:

  • Preparation and submission of import & export customs declarations
  • Managing documentation for UK, ROI, EU and international trade movements
  • Working across controlled and non-controlled goods
  • Liaising with customers, drivers and internal teams to ensure smooth clearance
  • Ensuring compliance with customs legislation and internal KPI targets
  • Maintaining strong attention to detail to prevent delays, duty errors or compliance issues

This is a varied role where you will become an "all-rounder" rather than being siloed into one area of customs.

The Ideal Person Will:

  • Have previous experience within customs clearance
  • Be comfortable working in a busy, high-pressure environment
  • Have strong knowledge of customs procedures (imports and/or exports)
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
  • Have strong communication skills (email & phone)
  • Be confident managing deadlines and prioritising workload
  • Experience with systems such as TSS, Transit or similar platforms (desirable but not essential)
