This is an individual, in-house role for one person to join our team directly — not an agency, studio or outsourced marketing retainer. Please only apply if you are an individual looking for hands-on, in-house work.

About Us

Gripvan supplies specially designed vans and the latest technical equipment to photographers and filmmakers across London and beyond. We’re a small, close-knit team that works with leading agencies and producers, supporting some of the biggest names in the industry on high-profile shoots. We’re still young, growing fast, and looking for someone who wants to be part of that journey.

The Role

We’re looking for someone to embed with us one day a week and own our social media and content from the inside. You’ll spend time with the team, on set and in the warehouse, so everything you post comes from real knowledge of how Gripvan works — not a generic content calendar. This is a hands-on role: you’ll shoot, write, edit, post and reply yourself.

Responsibilities

  • Slot seamlessly into the team — spend time with crew, drivers, warehouse staff and clients to understand the business from the inside
  • Produce behind-the-scenes and educational content (photo and video) around our vans, kit, shoots and people
  • Manage and grow our social media accounts, engaging directly with followers, clients and industry contacts
  • Write blog posts and other long-form content for our website
  • Draw on knowledge across the business to post and write from a position of real authority
  • Build and maintain a content plan covering weekly, monthly and annual marketing and social activity
  • Track what’s performing and adjust the plan accordingly
  • Everything else you’d expect from an in-house marketing and content role

What We’re Looking For

  • A track record of running social accounts and creating content
  • Strong, clear writing, comfortable producing blog and video content
  • Confident shooting and editing photo and video, with an eye for authentic, behind-the-scenes storytelling
  • Personable and happy to spend time with the team, on shoots and in the warehouse to gather material firsthand
  • Organised, with the discipline to plan and stick to a content calendar
  • A genuine interest in photography, film or the production industry
  • Able to work on-site with us in London E10 one day per week, with scope to grow as the role develops

Essential Requirements

  • Applying as an individual — this role is not open to agencies, studios or contractors
  • Proven Right to Work in the UK
  • Able to attend our London E10 HQ in person on your working day
