Kick-start your career in sustainability with a 12‑month placement as a sustainability analyst intern at Loadhog, where you’ll support the delivery of our ambitious sustainability strategy and 2030 vision. Working closely with our sustainability manager and teams across the business, you’ll gain hands‑on experience in planning and coordinating ESG initiatives, tracking environmental performance, and contributing to impactful projects.

This role is a 12‑month placement opportunity to support the sustainability manager in delivering Loadhog’s sustainability strategy and contributing to our 2030 vision! You will assist with planning, coordinating, and tracking progress across environment, social and governance (ESG) initiatives, working closely with teams across the business. The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the planning, scoping, and coordination of sustainability projects across the business.
- Collecting data and reporting on Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring all sustainability data and records are fully auditable.
- Assisting with life cycle assessments (LCAs) and producing environmental product declarations (EPDs) or product carbon footprint statements (PCFS) for Loadhog’s products.
- Preparing evidence and data to support sustainability certifications.
- Contributing to the writing and compilation of Loadhog’s annual sustainability reports and other internal communications.
- Supporting submissions for frameworks such as EcoVadis, ISO 14001, and Sedex.
- Supporting the team in monitoring compliance with environmental legislation, internal procedures, and best‑practice sustainability standards.

The successful candidate should have the following skills and experience:
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfortable analysing and interpreting data.
- Sound mathematical and strategic reasoning to support accurate sustainability calculations.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Communication and organisational skills.
- A desire to undertake training and learn new skills.
- Studying a degree in sustainability, environmental management, geography, business, economics, ecological economics, or other related disciplines.
