The role:

Reporting to the warehouse team leader and based predominately at our Hellaby site in Rotherham, with the occasional requirement to cover sites across Sheffield, you will be provided with training to work within warehouse operations and become an integral part of the supply chain team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Unloading and booking in goods from suppliers
  • Driving our van to fulfil our site-to-site deliveries and collect from suppliers
  • Picking products and booking out goods to service our production team
  • Partaking in regular stock takes
  • Working to given processes and in accordance with health and safety guidelines
  • Maintenance of 5S standards and general housekeeping
  • Using IT systems to maintain accurate stock levels and update works orders

Who you are:

To be considered for this challenging and often demanding role, you must ideally have warehousing experience and be:

  • Highly motivated and hard working with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude
  • Flexible to the requirements of working within a small team with a willingness to be able to work to time sensitive deadlines
  • Able to prioritise tasks to maintain an effective operation and accurate warehouse
  • Computer literate
  • Enthusiastic, with a good work ethic, willingness to learn and ability to work on your own initiative
  • Numerate and able to communicate both verbally and written in a clear and concise manner
  • Flexible to work across multiple sites as and when needed

Working hours:

This position will entail working a regular 3 shift pattern, mornings, nights and afternoons. Monday-Thursday 6.00am-2.00pm or 2.00pm-10.00pm and Friday 6.00am–1.00pm or 1.00pm-8.00pm. Sunday 11.00pm-6.00am or Monday-Thursday 10pm-6am. Weekend work may also be required to meet the demands of the business, and you may also be required to help in other areas on site. A flexible, ‘can do’ attitude is therefore paramount.
