About Grip
Grip Security is one of the fastest-growing cybersecurity startups, solving one of the most urgent problems facing enterprises today: securing the SaaS sprawl. We’re backed by top-tier investors and trusted by Fortune 500 customers to protect their most critical applications. Our team is lean, fast-moving, and ambitious — and marketing is at the center of how we scale.
Why This Role Is Exciting
This is Grip’s first-ever Growth hire — a chance to build the digital engine from the ground up and shape how we do demand generation for years to come. You won’t just be running campaigns — you’ll be defining the playbook.
We’re specifically looking for someone with creator DNA. If you’ve grown a newsletter, built a LinkedIn presence, launched side projects, or hacked together communities, that mindset is exactly what we want at Grip. This role blends creativity with data-driven execution: experimenting like a creator, measuring like an analyst, and translating it all into pipeline.
What You’ll Do
- Build and own Grip’s digital demand generation engine — from paid social to ABM to inbound campaigns.
- Take charge of web analytics & tracking (GA4, GTM, attribution dashboards) to measure pipeline impact.
- Design and run growth experiments across channels (ads, landing pages, nurture flows, LinkedIn campaigns).
- Partner with our content marketer and designer to launch creative campaigns that break through the noise.
- Own Marketo hygiene: lead scoring, nurture flows, campaign tracking.
- Leverage modern growth stack (ABM platforms, web tracking, AI-driven growth hacks, automation/enrichment tools).
- Spin up MVP campaigns quickly, validate hypotheses, and scale what works.
- Report campaign ROI and pipeline contribution directly to the leadership team.
- Build the playbooks and benchmarks that will become the foundation of Grip’s long-term growth function.
Why You’ll Love This Role
- You’ll be the founder of Grip’s growth function — with freedom to experiment, build, and scale.
- You’ll see the direct impact of your work in pipeline and revenue.
- You’ll work in a fast-paced cybersecurity category with massive demand and breakout potential.
- You’ll be surrounded by a talented, creative team (content, design, product marketing, events) who want to win together.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 4–6+ years in growth, demand gen, or digital marketing at a high-growth cybersecurity or B2B tech company.
- Strong analytics chops: GA4, GTM, Salesforce, Marketo, ABM platforms, attribution modeling, web tracking.
- Proven track record designing and running campaigns that directly drive pipeline.
- A mix of creative + data-driven thinking — you can brainstorm with the designer, experiment like a creator, and measure like an analyst.
- Creator DNA is a must-have: you’ve built something of your own (newsletter, blog, LinkedIn presence, community, or side project) and can show how you grew it.
- You thrive in scrappy, test–learn–iterate cycles — spinning up, hacking together, and scaling fast.
- Location: East Coast (NY or Boston strongly preferred).
