The predicted salary is between 1040 - 1248 Β£ per month.
To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include, but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, the processing of information and assisting patients as required.
17 hours per week working Monday and Tuesday between 8am-6.30pm.
Main duties of the job:
- Being the initial point of contact for patients contacting the Practice, whether on the telephone, face to face or via online methods.
- Relaying messages to patients via a range of methods.
- Updating rotas and clinics on the clinical system.
- Franking outgoing post.
- Supporting the administrative responsibilities around vaccination campaigns.
- Scanning clinical letters and attaching them to the correct patient records.
- Processing new patient registrations.
- Booking appointments for a range of appointment types.
- Dealing with general enquiries.
- Signposting patients to relevant services.
- Supporting patient recalls and appointments: blood tests and chronic disease clinics.
