Warehouse and Logistics Operative Responsible for:
- Providing efficient, consistent and accurate warehousing service for Bioscience and Diagnostic commercial divisions
Main tasks and duties:
- To ensure that all pharmaceutical work completed meets full Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
- To receive and check goods inwards, correctly store, accurately process and despatch all product categories
- To process NIBSC plasma pool and batch samples in an accurate and timely fashion
- To be available for any out-of-hours working/call outs
- To ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are followed
- To understand and follow the principles of the company's Quality Management and Business Continuity Systems
- To ensure in the absence of the Warehouse Manager that the warehouse is maintained in a neat, clean and tidy state and in accordance with GDP
- To provide assistance with deliveries/placement of Grifols supplied instrumentation as instructed by the Warehouse Manager
Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience in working within a warehouse environment
- Using IT systems and databases
- High levels of IT literacy
- Understanding of GDP
- Ability to prioritise
- Fork-lift truck driving experience an advantage
- Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Bioscience and Diagnostic industry an advantage
Time commitment:
Travel may be required for training/to meet reasonable business needs. 35 hours per week Monday to Friday plus an additional daily break of no less than 30 minutes.
