Job Description

The new manufacture and installation of new skirt systems for Project craft and the manufacture and occasional installation of spare skirts and components for existing customers.

Objectives

  • Assist with achieving the Team Objectives
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings
  • Cutting out and abrading of rubber material to complex design
  • Precise bonding of rubber
  • Joining and connecting finished product
  • Installation of completed product onto craft
  • Work with your team members to achieve the objectives of the business and department and to promote the company values.
  • Work to continuously improve personal and overall business performance and quality Maintain standards for Health and safety
  • Occasionally working on site dealing with customers

Qualifications/Experience

  • Previous experience of boat or rib building would be an advantage The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is essential
  • Exceptional eye for detail and Quality
  • Ability to work individually but still play a key role in the team Must be flexible and will move from job to job
  • Must understand and work to the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act
  • Experience and knowledge of braiding and adhesion of rubber
  • Technical knowledge in relevant engineering subjects
  • Knowledge of GML products and service offerings
  • Capable of working with customers, and staff at all levels Ability to wok to the GML Values and Behaviours
