Job Description
The new manufacture and installation of new skirt systems for Project craft and the manufacture and occasional installation of spare skirts and components for existing customers.
Objectives
- Assist with achieving the Team Objectives
- Interpret complex engineering drawings
- Cutting out and abrading of rubber material to complex design
- Precise bonding of rubber
- Joining and connecting finished product
- Installation of completed product onto craft
- Work with your team members to achieve the objectives of the business and department and to promote the company values.
- Work to continuously improve personal and overall business performance and quality Maintain standards for Health and safety
- Occasionally working on site dealing with customers
Qualifications/Experience
- Previous experience of boat or rib building would be an advantage The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is essential
- Exceptional eye for detail and Quality
- Ability to work individually but still play a key role in the team Must be flexible and will move from job to job
- Must understand and work to the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act
- Experience and knowledge of braiding and adhesion of rubber
- Technical knowledge in relevant engineering subjects
- Knowledge of GML products and service offerings
- Capable of working with customers, and staff at all levels Ability to wok to the GML Values and Behaviours
