The predicted salary is between 44595 - 54505 £ per year.
To manage activities, monitor and progress of all production projects within the department to ensure they are delivered to the correct specification and within the agreed timescales and budgets.
Objectives
- Plan the deployment of workshop resources to deliver the agreed production plan
- Drive lean/efficient, safe and compliant workshop practice
- Drive continuous improvement by internal development recommendations to engineering
- Provide leadership and direction to staff to achieve departmental and personal objectives
- Work with SLT to achieve the objectives of the business and departments to promote company values
- Plan and monitor departmental workload to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Ensure staff work to the correct standards and procedures
- Develop, encourage and nurture a problem-solving culture within the department
- Maintain standards of Health & Safety within the department
- Take responsibility to ensure that the company's environmental policies are enforced in full.
Qualifications/Experience
- Experience of leading a production team within a similar project environment
- Ability to coach and develop other members of staff
- Capable of working with customers and staff at all levels
- Ability to motivate others who are not direct reports
- Ability to generate a positive project and team ethos.
