The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for performing fabrication and welding tasks, maintaining high quality to ensure production standards are met within the agreed timeframes.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, form, and prepare aluminium components for fabrication.
  • Fit and assemble aluminium parts, ensuring correct alignment and tolerances.
  • Perform high-quality aluminium welding (MIG and/or TIG) to required specifications.
  • Grind, dress, and finish welded joints for smooth appearance and structural integrity.
  • Assemble sub-assemblies and attach them to the main structure.
  • Operate and maintain fabrication tools, welding equipment, and safety gear.
  • Maintain standards for Health and safety within department.
  • Take responsibility to ensure that the company's environmental policies are enforced in full.
  • Ability to generate a positive project and team ethos.
