Oversee and lead Griffon Marine Shipyard with full responsibility for its performance, profitability and strategic direction. Your objectives will be:

  • Grow Revenue: Achieve Year on Year growth > 5% by well-considered business development.
  • Grow the capability and value proposition of Griffon Marine: Invest in your people.
  • Control Costs: Reduce non-productive costs by increasing digitalisation and reducing manual processes.
  • Improve Productivity: Reduce waste by improving Quality and Controls.
  • Actively manage risks: Manage risks which threaten project success.
  • Diversify: Grow non-hovercraft manufacturing revenue and become a genuine Shipyard, delivering profitable marine vessel build projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Discover, win and deliver marine vessel manufacturing projects.
  • Provide manufacturing capability to other Griffon Marine business units.
  • Plan, monitor and adjust to achieve commercial success for the business unit by meeting agreed targets.
  • Have oversight and control of all day-to-day operations with the business unit, including quality control, health and safety, environmental controls, compliance and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the overall leadership of Griffon Marine as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Manage and develop the business unit team and its people.
  • Fulfil the Griffon Marine Values and Behaviours.
  • Report progress towards Objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve the overall Griffon Marine objectives.
