We are currently looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our North Wales project teams. You will be site based to provide you with the best opportunity to enhance on the skills. You will be supported by a Project Quantity Surveyor who will guide and support you in your day to day work. You will also be supported to gain professional accreditation through our Approved Development Scheme.

Principal Accountability
As Assistant Quantity Surveyor you may have experience of working in the construction industry, particularly on civil engineering projects, although experience is not essential.
Detailed Responsibilities
Other responsibilities for this role, whilst being supported, will include:
- Preparing and timely submission of valuations and receipt of certificates
- Securing payments from customers within the specified contract terms
- Recording, monitoring and reviewing the financial performance of a contract
- Managing financial accounts and report to line manager on performance of projects
- Liaising with the client on the project performance
- Subcontract procurement and management of subcontractor accounts
- Pre-contract pricing as required
Required experience, knowledge, qualifications, and training
It is preferred that the successful candidate are:
- educated to degree level in Quantity Surveying
- graduate members of a relevant professional body e.g. CICES, RICS

- Good IT skills specifically on spreadsheets, databases and the ability to adapt to bespoke software packages
