Duties

  • Profiling a range of food products against key criteria such as appearance, aroma, flavour, and texture.

  • Develop own knowledge of testing criteria and be able to confidently score products against them

  • Collaboratively participate in panel discussions, describing product attributes accurately and confidently

  • Responsible for submitting accurate product scoring data into ballots in either paper or electronic formats

  • Attend and participate in training sessions on product area and projects, ensuring continued understanding of product attributes and scale references is maintained

Education and Training

  • No previous experience needed

  • Basic IT skills

  • Good standard of written and spoken English

Hours of work are 9.30am to 12.30pm Tuesday to Thursday, 48 weeks per year .

This role is subject to the successful completion of a fully sensory screening which will form part of the interview process.

Please be aware that you will be required to sample a wide range of products that may not be appropriate for all dietary requirements.
