Duties:
- Profiling a range of food products against key criteria such as appearance, aroma, flavour, and texture.
- Develop own knowledge of testing criteria and be able to confidently score products against them.
- Collaboratively participate in panel discussions, describing product attributes accurately and confidently.
- Responsible for submitting accurate product scoring data into ballots in either paper or electronic formats.
- Attend and participate in training sessions on product area and projects, ensuring continued understanding of product attributes and scale references is maintained.
Education and Training:
- No previous experience needed.
- Basic IT skills.
- Good standard of written and spoken English.
Hours of work are 9.30am to 12.30pm Tuesday to Thursday, 48 weeks per year. This role is subject to the successful completion of a fully sensory screening which will form part of the interview process. Please be aware that you will be required to sample a wide range of products that may not be appropriate for all dietary requirements.
