Purpose of the Role

To contribute to the growth & profitability of Griffith Foods Europe by playing a leading role in the advancement of our sauce & dressings technical expertise & capabilities, enabling the delivery of differentiating, innovative, profitable sauce & dressings aligned to the business growth strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development and execution of innovation, technical & value leadership key projects.
  • Lead capability building programs across the category and into local teams.
  • Actively participate in and work with Global and Regional category teams to enable the delivery of regional category projects.
  • Responsible for regional knowledge management/transfer across the category.
  • Instigate & develop relationships with external technology partners, co‑manufacturers & ingredient partners to facilitate the implementation of the Purpose Driven Strategy emphasizing sustainability and Health & Nutrition.
  • Communicate internally with all necessary functions to exchange technical information & enable adherence to project timelines.
  • Ensure appropriate communication tools & methods are employed, including preparation of presentations, work instructions, training documents & detailed technical reports to effectively share knowledge & learnings.
  • Manage project budgets.
  • Lead & deliver sauce nutritional reformulation projects.
  • Maintain and enhance the security of all information regarding product formulas, processing and related company intellectual property.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with relevant experience.
  • 7 years’ experience or more in a similar role.
  • Work with independence, exercising ingenuity and judgment in the approach to and accomplishment of key innovation & technology projects.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities and timelines.
  • Demonstrate strong technical, problem‑solving and leadership skills to approach complex projects.
