Drive the European strategy for selected Pan-European accounts and lead its execution across the region.

Ensure sustainable growth and alignment with the overall Griffith Foods Europe strategy through strategic account planning, business development, customer relationship management and cross-functional coordination.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assume full responsibility for selected Pan-European accounts.
  • Build strategic account plans that form the foundation of the Long-Term Plan and align with the Best-fit model.
  • Lead strategic management of Pan-European accounts, including business development, customer relationships, active prospecting and identification of new opportunities.
  • Partner with Development, Marketing and Culinary leadership to define and execute the future strategic direction of customer and item portfolios and ensure sustainable, profitable relationships.
  • Build, develop and facilitate appropriate top-to-top relationships at all relevant levels within customer organizations.
  • Drive effective account management and coordinate customer appointments, presentations and demonstrations with Marketing and Development; obtain and follow up on customer feedback and queries.
  • Manage internal relationships required to deliver commercial objectives and provide clear customer forecasts for efficient planning and scheduling.
  • Support the wider sales team as required.
  • Enable the integration of innovative ideas, commercial and marketing initiatives, proposals, projects and improvements.
  • Challenge the status quo and proactively identify opportunities to improve margins and contribution to Griffith Foods Europe results.
  • Participate in plans and submit annual budgets, strategic and operating plans, estimates, forecasts, statistics, analyses and financial information related to ongoing business requirements.
  • Facilitate proactive customer development pipeline management with Marketing.
  • Deliver customer-related KPIs and lead contract negotiations.
  • Monitor market, competition and technical developments and share relevant information with internal stakeholders.
  • Proactively and visibly support organizational Health and Safety standards, rules and regulations.
  • Ensure creation and sharing of sales reports and weekly and monthly progress updates on sales execution to relevant stakeholders.
  • Knowledge & Experience
  • In-depth knowledge of food-industry segments, market characteristics and trends; strong commercial acumen; B2B ingredient sales expertise; customer portfolio and pipeline management; contract negotiation; forecasting, budgeting and reporting; proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, CRM and ERP systems.
  • Strong background in commercial roles, including several years in a large international, multicultural environment in B2B ingredient sales within the food industry
  • Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
  • Business-competent English; second European language expected; regular travel availability; passion for food.

Compensation

Salary range starts on 52,441 GBP + Bonus + Benefits
