Key roles and responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Strategy: Support Finance Business Partner in the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, financial and ad-hoc analysis in collaboration with plant and commercial teams.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with regional requirements.
- Cost Management and Optimization: Conduct in-depth cost analysis to identify areas to optimize costs, cost reduction and improve efficiencies.
- Profitability Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis to identify area for improvements up to OI level.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management processes.
- Standard Costing: Establish and update standard costs for materials, labour and overhead as required.
- Automation and simplification: Support standardization projects, through insights in process efficiencies and be a contact point to perform ad hoc requests in time.
- Collaboration: Provide support and guidance to the operations and commercial teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, development and high performance.
Functional Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance fields is preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in similar or related roles.
- This individual should possess excellent financial skills, with the ability to detect trends from financial statements and provide insights for improved decision-making.
- Fluency in English essential. Dutch or Spanish would be valuable depending on location.
