For more information, visit .**TITLE:** Senior Global Logistics & Planning Manager**LOCATION:** Proximity to Work in Alsip IL US, Scarborough, CAN, orMonterrey MX Hybrid Role with average 1-2 days/week in office**COMP RANGE:** $100,000 – $130,000/year plus bonusGriffith Foods is hiring a Senior Global Logistics & Planning Manager to be responsible for establishing and implementing global guidelines and processes for the Planning & Logistics function at all our Griffith Foods, Custom Culinary and Terova locations. This role is to provide consistent quality of service and market competitiveness through processes and systems while bringing creative solutions to the individual operations to deliver reliable customer service while balancing inventory and cost.This position builds collaborative partnerships across the Planning & Logistics function, with our service providers, and provides insights and assistance to suppliers and customers worldwide on how to optimize Planning & Logistics services.**As a** **Senior Global Logistics & Planning Manager****, your responsibilities will include:*** Develop and maintain global planning and logistics policies and procedures.* Provide analytical support for demand planning, S&OP processes, production scheduling, procurement, and capacity planning/utilization. Leverage models and tools to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement.* Evaluate and validate global requirements for potential contract manufacturers and external warehouses. Support contract renewals and onboarding processes to ensure alignment with operational needs.* Serve as global champion and facilitator and implementation support of key technologies such as Blue Yonder (demand planning/scheduling), Dynamics 365 ERP, and S&OP systems to improve process consistency and performance.* Identify and develop GPS/Lean opportunities in warehousing, transportation, and planning/scheduling to enhance global supply chain efficiency.* Maintain centralized reporting and data for planning, logistics, and warehousing globally by partnering with information management to build/maintain models used for analytics.* Support the Global Sustainability initiative by tracking sustainability related metrics, identifying improvement areas, and collaborating with 3rd-party logistics providers and regional teams to implement sustainable transportation practices.**The** **Senior Global Logistics & Planning Manager position is well suited for you if you:*** Enjoy developing solutions for Planning and Logistics tools to support global enterprise forecasting, scheduling, inventory control, transportation, and sustainability* Passion for rolling out of Global initiatives for transportation, Blue Yonder, and Dynamics WMS for warehousing, scheduling, and demand planning.* Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce costs, improve service and customer satisfaction.**Qualified candidates will have:*** Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management or related.* 5-8 years’ experience in Global Planning/Logistics function with emphasis on Global Supply Chain process and tools, negotiation skills, building of collaborative relationships and team building capabilities.* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret operational data, develop models, and track key performance metrics.* Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with global teams.* Must be able to travel internationally up to 15%.**What will set you apart:*** Master’s Degree in Operations or Supply Chain Management or an MBA.* Supply Chain certifications (e.g., APICS or ISM certification such as CSCP, CPIM, and or CPSM) are desirable.* Excellent presentation and communication skills.* Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or equivalent.* Experience with Blue Yonder Demand Planning and Scheduling system or equivalent.Griffith Foods embraces Work Flex, allowing employees to work remotely, and select options like compressed work weeks, flex time, etc. that creates an effective workplace where work patterns meet the needs of both employers & employees.The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Medical, Rx, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending & Health Savings Accounts, EAP, Health Advocacy, Financial Planning, Parental Leave, Care.com, Adoption & Surrogacy Assistance, Education Assistance/Tuition Reimbursement, Safety Reimbursement, Lifestyle Spending Account, Group Life & AD&D, Voluntary Life Insurance, Short Term & Long Term Disability, 401(k) Plan with Company Match, ESOP, PTO, Holiday’s & Leaves, Accident Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, Hospital Indemnity, Home & Auto Insurance, Pet Insurance, Identity Theft Protection, Long Term Care + Life Insurance & Legal Assistance.
