We’re seeking a Data Visualisation expert for our Consultancy Business.

The Team

We’re Intuita – an ambitious, fast growing consultancy that’s making waves in both the consultancy and technology space.
With our ambitious goals for 2025 and beyond, we are looking for talented individuals to complement the team of experts we already have working across our business, becoming a pivotal part of our journey, to not just meet but continuously exceed our client expectations!

The Role

To achieve our ambitions, we’re looking to hire a Senior Data Visualisation Consultant to grow our Data Visualisation team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a visualisation developer with a background in Tableau and/or PowerBI to come in and make their mark within an established team. The demand for visualisation and reporting automation continues to grow within our ambitious consultancy across a varied and dynamic industry and client base.

At Intuita, our visualisation developers don’t just care about the end dashboards that are developed for a client; they are heavily involved in implementing solutions (such as semantic or aggregation data layer) that make visualisation efficient and effective.

The visualisation team have the freedom to create proof of concepts, demonstrate ‘art of the possible’, and impress the client with all the features a visualisation platform can bring.

The role would also be working closely with our analytical and engineering teams to deliver collaborative solutions. You will be expected to translate business needs into technical specifications and follow that through to delivery working as a team.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5+ years of experience as a PowerBI/Tableau developer, with a solid track record in delivering complex solutions. They will be proficient in desktop and cloud, with expert level experience in calculated metrics, data modelling, and optimising reports.

You will:

  • Lead the design and development of visualisation dashboards that meet complex data requirements and present information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Drive data-driven decision-making, leveraging vast client data to unlock insights and drive our clients forward.
  • Partner with clients to understand user needs and translate this into visually appealing and easy to use solutions.
  • Provide value quickly through wireframing or prototyping.
  • Demonstrate clean design principles for reporting.
  • Perform data analysis, assessing new datasets for potential exploitation opportunities.
  • Demonstrate and document the designs and solutions for the client.
  • Support client training, adoption and evolution of visualisation solutions.

A bit about you

Being a consultant at Intuita means something a little different to being a consultant elsewhere; we like to hire like-minded people. We see ourselves as trusted partners to our clients and believe in transparency, quality, and integrity above all else, always pushing to deliver the best outcomes for our clients. We value collaboration and teamwork, working together to solve problems and share learnings.

As a Data Visualisation Consultant, you’ll share these values but also bring your own personality and approach to the role. We’re looking for someone who will be working hands-on, client facing with the following experience and qualities:

  • Track record of designing and building comprehensive sets of dashboard solutions.
  • Experienced in collaborative design with business users.
  • Ability to perform data blending, data aggregation and complex calculated fields when required.
  • Possess hands-on experience with SQL; knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modelling will be advantageous.
  • Experience using large data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks or similar.
  • Exposure to other visualisation platforms is helpful, but not essential.

Required Characteristics

  • Cares about quality, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across all visualisations.
  • Confident in presenting dashboards and analysis to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborative team focus, working with stakeholders and development teams to ensure user needs are met.
  • Ability to quickly understand client context and demonstrate expertise in their business.
  • Willingness to explore data when requirements are uncertain; examining data or performing analysis to proactively drive out requirements.
  • Able to present complex information in an interesting way to a variety of audiences.
  • Fast learner, happy to ask questions to build understanding and then fly.
  • Stays up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the team’s capabilities.

– But if you don’t fit these exactly and are interested in working for us, get in touch anyway – we hire people, not job specs!

What’s in it for you?

  • Salary: circa: £40,000 – £65,000 per annum DOE; contractor day rates can be discussed in person.
  • (Really) flexible and remote working – we don’t mind when, where or how you work; you are trusted to work in the way that suits you best.
  • Genuine care and support for your health and wellbeing – free therapy sessions, financial education, birthday treats and much more.
  • Incredible training and learning opportunities – you’ll be surrounded by the best in the business and encouraged to keep growing.
  • Freedom and empowerment to own problems and explore new ideas – we allow our consultants to actually be consultants, not just bodies.
  • A supportive, friendly team – we work hard and enjoy spending time together, whether it’s in-person at socials or via silly Slack conversations.
  • Dog friendly offices – we’re a team of dog lovers, so we’ve made our offices dog friendly!

Longer term our permanent hires attract the following key benefits as well as lighter, wider perks and, of course, a welcoming, supportive environment in which to develop and thrive is our best offering!
