My client is seeking a Researcher / Senior Researcher with expertise in Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) to support advanced research and development initiatives. This role focuses on developing innovative CCS technologies, conducting proof-of-concept studies, and translating research outcomes into practical, value-driven solutions through close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Conduct R&D in carbon capture and storage, including technology assessment, modelling, simulation, and performance prediction activities.
- Develop and evaluate service designs and business models correspondent to CCS solutions.
- Plan and execute Proof-of-Concept (PoC) projects to validate technical feasibility and real-world application.
- Engage customers to understand technical requirements and support solution proposal development.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentation materials.
- Collaborate with global research teams and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and deliver integrated solutions.
Qualifications
- Min. Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years experience in carbon capture & storage (CCS), carbon management, decarbonisation technologies, or related R&D fields.
- Strong background in research activities including technology assessment, modelling, simulation, and data analysis.
