What you’ll be doing:

  1. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure parity between DCC packages and Unreal.
  2. Profile and optimise scenes to meet the project requirements without sacrificing visual fidelity.
  3. Develop shaders, tools, particle systems, and modules for the internal library.
  4. Create world-class photorealistic imagery.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Unreal Engine expertise.
  2. Passionate about real-time rendering and strives for photorealism.
  3. Proficiency with Blueprints is a must; a strong grasp of OOP and HLSL is helpful.
  4. Strong intuition with linear algebra and trigonometry.
  5. At least 2 years of experience in the industry working with Unreal Engine.
  6. Knowledge of Maya with a core understanding of the inner workings of the tool.
  7. An understanding of Houdini is very valuable.
  8. Excellent communication skills.
  9. Solid organisation skills with adherence to file structures, naming conventions, and other established protocols.
  10. Comfortable with version control and CI.
  11. Independent, adaptable, and able to effectively meet deadlines.
  12. Portfolio/website demonstrating technical artistic ability that includes Unreal / Unity based work.
  13. Familiarity with motion capture, virtual production, camera tracking, virtual reality, and augmented reality is a big plus.
