Role Summary

The role of a Senior Architectural Visualisation Artist is to create photorealistic digital marketing content showing proposed buildings, landscapes, interiors, or products for client projects. The primary clients are architects and real estate developers.

Responsibilities

  1. Plan and produce appealing visualisations from client supplied material
  2. Collaborate with other artists to produce and refine content
  3. Establish lighting set-ups and compositions
  4. Provide insight and design expertise when needed
  5. Achieve photorealistic magazine quality results with rendering engines
  6. Own and lead projects
  7. Lead on one project and work on multiple others
  8. Engage in correspondence with client/design team
  9. Work with Project Managers to assist on resourcing projects
  10. Incorporate and adapt content based on feedback
  11. Additional asset creation (furniture, props, etc.)
  12. Own personal Learning & Development and record this
  13. Prepare learning material for Friday showcase sessions
  14. Provide honest constructive feedback to other Artists
  15. Contribute to and manage a library of assets
  16. Develop new techniques and introduce new tools
  17. Mentor more junior Artists as required

Minimum Requirements

  1. Familiar with architectural drawings
  2. Experience designing visual content or graphic design layouts
  3. Texture/Shader knowledge
  4. An understanding of animation, animation rigs, and anatomy
  5. Experience of working in a studio environment
  6. A general understanding of cameras
  7. A basic knowledge of the Architecture industry
  8. A positive team player
  9. 3dsmax experience is desirable/essential
  10. Extensive Corona knowledge/Familiarity with Corona

Skills and Experience

  1. Microsoft Office – particularly Excel and Word at an intermediate level
  2. Google Suite
  3. Desirable to have familiarity with creative cloud software
  4. Ideally a background in architectural visualisation, real estate, interior design, or marketing
